CX65 and Siemens MPM

Hi all

Is it just me or is Siemens MPM a pile of crap?
I have CX65 (FW14), USB DCA-510 cable and Siemens MPM and the transfer
speeds are laughable.... takes minutes to recognise the phone and 5mins plus
to do anything else - if it doesn't time out first.

Siemens Device in Explorer is no better - takes ages to browse directories
and uses 100% CPU (1.4GHz system)!
What is it communicating with ? semaphore?

My old SL42 was better - faster in Explorer and it had a removablr MMC and
with a USB card readerwas quite usable - this CX65 + MPM is rubbish.
Have Siemens fitted a 9K6 coms port to the CX65? (This is a camera phone and
needs much better speeds than that)...
Is the USB cable just a USB to 9K6 serial converter?

Tried MobileMaster which is better software but still has the appallingly
slow coms speed...

Anyone got a solution?

i have the same problem, but if i use the old siemens data suite no
problemo...

Thanks for the heads up... Data Suite works much better than MPM... ;-)
